New Mandatory Roles

Some important changes will be implementing in our platform to meet the requirements of certain DSPs regarding metadata for producer and performer roles at the track and release levels.

Here are the specific changes we are implementing:

• Including the producer role at the track and release levels will now be mandatory.
• Including at least one performer role at the track and release levels will also be required.
• These requirements apply to submissions with a release creation date after October 28, 2024.
• Updates or removals of content distributed before October 28, 2024, will not be affected and will pass validation.

These changes will take effect on Monday, October 29.

We are notifying you as early as possible so you can review these updates, adjust your distribution processes, and inform your users. 

Please note that these changes also apply to the bulk upload tool. Therefore, ensure your CSV files are correctly configured for our platform to process them without issues.
